Terroism has reached our door, taken one of us and leave us only with sadness.
The Mumbai bombings has taken one Singaporean life. Ms Lo Hwei Yan. A budding lawyer, a lover of life. A bright and friendly lady. Someone I never meet.
What I know is from the news, about her, about her family, about her love story. But this is not how it should be. All these wonderful stories are on the same page as the reports on the ruins and siege situation. How she was so close to being safe. How much she was determined to get out. Most importantly, how much she knew was at risk.
Her life placed on a string when the terrors picked her out of so many to be the messenger. To tell authorities. But the reality tells us how much the authorities had disregarded life.
Our Singapore sister was on the line, under so obvious circumstances. Could you guarantee her life or did you ever considered her life when you storm the hotel? Please answer us.
God bless those who loved life moments that You gave us. Bring them to Your paradise and take away their memories of pain and fear.
